KFUPM Announces Academic Job Opportunities for Female

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) has announced job opportunities for female PhD holders as a part of its faculty needs of both genders. All academic ranks for a large number of scientific disciplines are needed, such as professors, associate professors and assistant professors.

Dean of Faculty and Personnel Affairs, Dr. Omar A. Al-Suwailem said that KFUPM is not only seeking to recruit women as faculty members, but also to play a distinguished role in preparing women leaders, qualified to serve the requirements of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

He added that in a previous step, the University Council agreed to enroll female students in postgraduate programs in specific disciplines such as: MSc and PhD of Mathematics, MSc of Statistics, MSc and PhD of Computer Engineering, MSc and PhD of Computer Science and MSc of Engineering Management.

The study will start in 2019/2020. KFUPM aims to contribute in providing the Saudi educational and research institutions with excellent female faculties and researchers and to enhance the system of innovation and technology development in the University and the Kingdom.

The required majors include: Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science and Engineering, Marketing, Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Management Information Systems and Engineering Management.

The applicant must have completed her all degrees as full time with minimum GPA 3.0 (out of 4.0). A proficient level of English language is also required.
