Rector of King Fahd University: False Accusations will not Undermine our Firm and Privileged Position

The Rector of King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals Dr. Sahel N. Abduljauwad said that the Kingdom will remain strong under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, may God preserve them. The Kingdom will remain strong in the face of its enemies and will  confront false accusations that will not succeed in undermining the Kingdom’s steadfast position and its distinguished Arab, Islamic and international status.

These slanders, which are spread by those who hate the stability and pride of the Kingdom, are desperate attempts that will fail, as did previous attempts throughout history. The Kingdom, its government and people, will remain strong and prevail against anyone who tries to undermine its policies and sovereignty, by God’s will, underscored by the wisdom of its leaders and cohesion of its citizens.

The Kingdom is characterized by its global weight. It is the place of revelation and the direction of Muslim prayer. It is one of the largest economies in the world and has gained respect of states and peoples for its status, humanitarian position and policies that always seek the security and stability of the region and the world.

It was affirmed that the Kingdom does not accept dictates from anyone, and it can protect its sovereignty and respect the sovereignty of others.  Its relationship with all countries of the world is governed by mutual respect, common interests and non-interference in the affairs of other states. The Kingdom does not allow others to interfere in its internal affairs and affirms its firm belief in world peace and international and regional stability, so as to achieve the development and prosperity of all nations.

Dr. Abduljauwad affirms the foundations of Saudi foreign policy and its ability to address challenges. The most important of these pillars is the continuous defense of the Arab and Islamic issues and the serious pursuit of Arab and Islamic solidarity, as well as the pursuit of security and stability in the world and the rejection of any practices that threaten international peace and security.

We are all united with our wise leadership to face these false allegations aimed at harming our country.
