Students from 50 different countries participated in the Festival. A number of the representatives of these countries provided presentations that included a review of the characteristic features of their cultures: Bosnia, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Syria, Palestine, Yemen, Egypt, Sudan, Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Kenya, and Somalia.

This year's Festival, attended by the University’s rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Sultan, and a great number of its managers, witnessed a huge student participation, and was well organized, which emphasizes the excellent organization skills of KFUPM’s students in preparing such festivals.

The presentations reviewed some of the important stages in the history of each of the participating countries, and reflected aspects of their culture, identity, customs, traditions, folk heritage, different clothing, and photographs of their landscapes.

The students of the University expressed admiration for the presentations and praised the idea of the Festival that increases their knowledge about a large number of countries, and improves the relationships of students of different nationalities.
