The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz’s interest to
combat corruption, stems from his realization of the seriousness of corruption
and its adverse effects on the country security, economic, political and social
issues.
The chairmanship of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz,
Crown Prince, May Allah preserve him, for this committee reflects the interest
of the wise leadership in this important issue and gives a great impetus to the
achievements of its objectives.
Due to his close proximity to all aspects of development in our country, deep
understanding of its requirements, the Crown Prince leadership of the anti-corruption
campaign will preserve the country's capabilities and gains and will enhance
the Kingdom's transparency among the world.
Dr. Al Sultan pointed out that anti-corruption protects public money from wasting and protects private and public property. It promotes the value of integrity and considers the public interest as a foundation, strengthening the moral system of the society, protecting its values and consolidating the principles of justice, transparency and equality.
He said that our country is racing with time to achieve a developmental renaissance that extends to all fields, drives our country to the ranks of the developed countries and strengthens its regional weight and international position. One of the main pillars of achieving this goal is the activation of anti-corruption systems and accountability of those who embezzled the public funds, which will strengthens the country foundations and its prestige and assures the respect and compliance with its regulations.
Fight against corruption strengthens national development programs and provides
a transparent environment based on efficiency and merit and raises the
standards of honesty, sincerity, quality, proficiency, efficiency in work and
production. Anti-corruption enhances the chances of economic growth and
optimizes the recruitment of the available resources.
