Al-Safa High School Students Visit to Architectural Engineering Department

Students from Al Safa high school paid a visit to the Architectural Engineering  Department on Thursday, 3rd March, 2018. They were met at Building 19 Plaza at about 10.20am and welcomed into the building by Dr. Mohammed Alhaji Mohammed and Mr. Mohammed Rashdan of the ARE Club. They were shown around the building science laboratory and the model making workshop on the 1st floor. (Figure 2 and 3 respectively)

After visiting the 1st floor the students were taken to the CED library and the ARE design studio (room 416) on the 4th floor of Building 19.(Figure 4 and 5) After the fourth floor, the visiting students were later shown around the exhibition room, presentation area and the ARE design studio 325 in the 3rd floor. (Figure 6, 7 & 8; 9 and 10 respectively)

Finally, the visit was concluded by a brilliant presentation from the representative of the ARE Club,Mr. Mohammed Rashdan,, which was followed by a question and answer session (Figures 11, 12 and 13)  A teacher from the visiting school thanked the ARE department on behalf of his students for the hospitality they received.
