HRH Prince Ahmed bin Fahd Patronizes the 13th Graduation Ceremony at Dammam Community College

On 17th April 2018, and under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Ahmed bin Fahad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, Dammam Community College (DCC) celebrated the graduation of the thirteenth batch at the College's headquarters in Dammam.
On this occasion, HE Dr. Khalid S. Al Sultan, Rector of King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, expressed his pride in KFUPM and DCC, and thanked the prince for his patronage of the graduation ceremony. He said that the University has the continuous support and appreciation of His Highness as a scientific institute, and wished that KFUPM will continue to be a distinguished university in various fields of science, education, research and community service.
His Excellency stressed that the interest of the Governor of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, and the Deputy Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz in the universities, colleges and educational institutions in the Eastern Province stems from the great attention that education receives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, may Allah preserve and protect them.
This interest will put the educational institutions and their faculty, staff and students in a position of great responsibility, and will involve employing all their potential and utilizing the scientific, technical and research developments to promote the industrial development and civilization that our nation has witnessed, while preserving the values of noble Islam and unity.
HE Dr. Al Sultan expressed his thanks to the Minister of Education, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Issa, for his great interest in KFUPM and its various activities.The KFUPM Rector praised Dammam Community College, stressing that it is a distinguished and pioneering school for associated education programs, and that it achieved its objectives in the field of scientific qualification and practical training.
Dr. Sultan explained that
the college is following the same approach of the university, drawing on its
long involvement and accumulated experience in education and community service.
DCC tries to matches its academic programs with the local market needs.
For his part, the Dean of Dammam Community College, Dr. Haitham M. Bahaidarah, expressed his and the College members’ pleasure with the patronage of His Highness Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, for participating in the graduation ceremony, and said that it is a gesture of appreciation which encourages the graduates and shares the joy of graduation with their parents.
The College Dean praised the scientific and professional level of the graduates and said that they received intensive qualitative education according to the highest academic quality standards applied in similar international colleges and universities. Dr. Bahaidarah pointed out that the College focuses on the balance between theory and practice in order to graduate qualified personnel who can undertake various business-related tasks in companies, factories, and production and service institutions with excellent efficiency and competence.
One of the most important features of the educational process in Dammam Community College is that it focuses on the student as the base of the educational process, consolidating professional ethics and spreading cooperation in the work environment, while emphasizing the importance of teamwork, discipline and respect for the systems.
The College offers six academic programs: accounting, computer and information technology, marketing, supply chain management, human resources management and safety technology.
