HRH Prince Ahmed bin Fahd Patronizes the 14th Graduation Ceremony at Dammam Community College

On Tuesday 26th March 2019 and under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Ahmed bin Fahad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, Dammam Community College (DCC) celebrates the graduation of the fourteenth batch at the College's headquarters in Dammam.

On this occasion, Dr. Sahel N. Abduljauwad, Rector of King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, express his pride and all KFUPM and DCC with the prince patronage for the graduation ceremony. He said that the University enjoys the continuous support and appreciation of His Royal Highness for being an international scientific institute and his wish that KFUPM will continue to be a distinguished university in various fields of science, education, and research as well as in community service.

HE stressed that the interest of the Governor of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz and his Deputy Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz in universities, colleges and educational institutions in the Eastern Province stems from the great attention that education receives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, may Allah preserve and protect them.

This interest will put the educational institutions and their faculty, staff and students in a great responsibility. They need to employ all their potentials and utilize the scientific, technical and research developments in promoting the industrial development and civilization that our nation witnessed while preserving the values ​​of noble Islam and unity.

Dr. Abduljauwad expresses his thanks to the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Shaikh, for his great interest in KFUPM and its various activities.

KFUPM Rector praised Dammam Community College, stressing that it is a distinguished and pioneering college for associated education programs, pointing out that it achieved its objectives in the field of scientific qualification and practical training.

Dr. Abduljauwad explained that the college is following KFUPM approach, drawing on its long and accumulated experience in education and community service. DCC tries to matches its academic programs with the local market needs.

For his part, Dean of Dammam Community College, Dr. Haitham M. Bahaidarah stressed that the College, like all other universities and colleges, has received great attention from our government with its leader the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz and his Deputy His Royal Highness Prince Ahmed bin Fahd bin Salman bin Abdulaziz .

The College Dean praised the scientific and professional level of the graduates and said that they received intensive qualitative education according to the highest academic quality standards applied in similar international colleges and universities. Dr. Bahaidarah pointed out that the College focuses on the balance between theory and practice in order to graduate qualified personnel can undertake various business tasks in companies, factories, and production and service institutions with excellent efficiency and competence.

One of the most important features of the educational process in Dammam community college is that it focuses on the student as the base of the educational process, while consolidating the professional ethics, emphasized the importance of discipline and respect for the systems, teamwork, and spreading cooperation in the work environment. He said.

In his speech to the graduates, Dr. Bahaidarah said “It is my pleasure to congratulate you on graduating after you have been prepared to be qualified scientifically and professionally. On behalf of the parents, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Shaibani, Deputy Minister for Planning and Transformation, Ministry of Health, , expressed his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz for their efforts and interest in education.
