KFUPM Systems Engineering Club Adapts to Distance Education

The Systems Engineering Club (SEC) at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals continued to organize its activities during the second semester with the aim of developing students' capabilities by using the technical means available for distance education. The activities included organizing workshops, lectures and qualitative initiatives in which many students from various scientific disciplines participated.

The 1st Female Graduate Batch Enrolled at KFUPM on Sunday

For the first time in the history of King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, about 100 female students from among more than 600 applicants started their postgraduate studies in the disciplines of mathematics, computer science, business administration, after passing the criteria and admission requirements of the University's graduate systems. The study began on Sunday, September 1, 2019.

Record Numbers in King Fahd University 1440 Summer Program

Lots of academic & social events and activities in a very busy summer this year's at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. A number of 6180 students studying summer semester and 160 students participate in the Enrichment Summer program for the intermediate and secondary gifted students offered by the Deanship of Educational Services in the summer program.

Dr. Mesfer Al-Zahrani appointed KFUPM Vice Rector for Academic Affairs

The Council of Higher Education Interim Committee at its 19th meeting, decided to appoint Dr. Mesfer M. Al-Zahrani as KFUPM Vice Rector for Academic Affairs for a period of three years from the beginning of 2019.

Department of Mathematics & Statistics Calculus Award 2018

The Department of Mathematics & Statistics organized a Calculus Award ceremony on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 in Bldg. # 5, Room # 103. This ceremony was held to honor the achievers (A+) students in the calculus sequence (Math 101, Math 102 and Math 201).

From Student to Vice Rector: A Journey of an Academician

On Tuesday, 30 October 2018, the Architectural Engineering Club (ARE) club held its second discussion meeting in Building 19 at 7:30 PM. The meeting started with a welcoming speech by one of the ARE Club members for Dr. Mohammed Al-Homoud, KFUPM Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and an ARE faculty member, and the audience made up of faculty members and students.

New Records in Summer Programs at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals

The University try to ensure that summer period is not less intensive than winter. In addition to the Summer Semester, summer at KFUPM is filled with activities such as the summer enrichment program for the gifted, summer evening program, summer program for intermediate and secondary school students and the summer community center program.
