HRH Governor of the Eastern Province Inaugurates the 5th Entrepreneurship Forum at King Fahd University

HRH Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, stressed that the fifth forum for entrepreneurship, organized by King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, has become a manifestation of the University's interest in building a culture of entrepreneurship, raising awareness of the importance of entrepreneurship, providing new economic activities depending on R & D and innovative services, and deepens the involvement of entrepreneurs in the transition to a knowledge economy.

On Wednesday 17th January 2018, and under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Governor of the Eastern Province, Mr. Sulaiman Abdulrahman Al Thunayan, Governor of Al Khobar, inaugurated the new Emerson Center for Technology and Innovation at KFUPM Dhahran Techno Valley (DTV). The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Amin Al Nasser, CEO of Saudi Aramco, Dr. Sahel N. Abduljauwad, KFUPM Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Research; Mr. David Farr, Chairman and CEO of Emerson Electric Company and Mr. Michael Train, Executive President, Emerson Automation Solutions.

KFUPM and the Advanced Electronics Company signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in Research and Development

King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), which owns 100% of the Dhahran Techno Valley Company and the Advanced Electronics Company, has signed a memorandum of cooperation in R&D, whereby the Advanced Electronics Company will become the technical partner of the University to localize a number of technologies in the fields of security systems and advanced research; development and exportation abroad.

Dhahran Techno Valley, Air Products to set up center for industrial gas tech

DHAHRAN — Dhahran Techno Valley, affiliated to King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), seeks to expand its base of strategic partners through signing an agreement with the American Air Products Company, in which the latter will establish a world-class technology development center in Dhahran Techno Valley by 2019.
