KFUPM welcomed its newest pioneers on Sunday, August 16, marking the beginning of Orientation Week and a new chapter in their university journey. The program is designed to help students become familiar with campus life, connect with the university community, and prepare for the academic experience ahead.
The week began with an introduction to university life and the transition to KFUPM, giving students an early opportunity to learn more about their new environment and the resources available to support them. The students affairs deanship was on hand throughout the program to guide students and help make their first days on campus smooth and welcoming.
Orientation activities continued on the second day, with the KFUPM Boulevard, bringing students together in a more interactive setting. The day also includes English and mathematics placement tests, with individual schedules provided to students.
Furthermore, students visited the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra), adding a cultural experience to a program that combines preparation, engagement, and opportunities to connect beyond the classroom.
Across the three days, Orientation Week offered new students more than an introduction to campus. It marked their first experience as members of the KFUPM community and gives them the opportunity to meet their peers, explore their surroundings, and begin adapting to university life.
As the newest class starts its journey, the week sets the stage for the experiences, challenges, and opportunities ahead, welcoming a new generation of KFUPM students ready to learn, grow, and pursue their ambitions.
