1st Place in National Universities Chess Championship

On 25 September 2025, KFUPM took first place among Saudi universities in the Chess Championship, organized by the Saudi Universities Sports Federation (SUSF) as part of its 16th sports season and hosted by the University of Hail.

Adding to this achievement, KFUPM was also ranked first nationwide in the latest SUSF 2025 Index, reaffirming its leadership in both athletics and student engagement. These results highlight how active participation in student activities is shaping a more vibrant campus life.

However, these milestones are about more than trophies and rankings; they reflect the university’s vision for a holistic higher education experience, one that combines academic excellence with a meaningful student life beyond the classroom, equipping graduates with the skills and confidence to face the future.
