A Cultural Exchange at KFUPM WORLD

From November 26 to 29, KFUPM came alive as KFUPM WORLD turned the campus into a living journey across cultures, stories, art, and shared experiences. Exclusively for the KFUPM community, the event invited students, staff, and faculty to move beyond borders and connect with the spirit of the world, all in one place.

Across four exciting destinations — the Arts Track, Cultural Track, Entertainment Track, and Tourism Track — participants explored a rich mix of creativity, heritage, and interactive discovery.

At the center of the experience, the Countries Expo featured more than 30 countries, each presenting its identity through flags, traditional clothing, languages, music, customs, and meaningful cultural symbols. Conversations flowed naturally, curiosity filled the air, and mutual understanding grew with every exchange.

The Carnival zone kept the excitement soaring with cultural dances, traditional attire, interactive games, themed photo areas, and engaging challenges. Laughter, movement, and shared moments filled the outdoor space, creating memories that stayed long after the event.

Inside, the Arts Expo and interactive workshops invited hands-on participation. Activities such as origami, calligraphy, drumming, and tile painting connected attendees with cultural expression through creativity and direct involvement.

With 4 competitions, 4 panel discussions featuring 8 speakers, 8 workshops, more than 200 volunteers, and over 6,000 visitors, KFUPM WORLD reflected the university’s commitment to inclusion, communication, and cultural appreciation.

The student-led effort highlighted the university’s seven habits in action, especially self-reliance and global experience, demonstrating how KFUPM students apply these values through hands-on involvement and leadership.

By opening its campus to global voices and traditions, KFUPM strengthened its international presence and reaffirmed its leading role in fostering diversity, promoting global dialogue, learning, and meaningful cultural connections across the region.

KFUPM WORLD was not just an event, it became a memory shared by thousands, filled with discovery, celebration, and human connection.
