Held over five days at Building 11 and organized by the Saudi University Sports Federation, the championship reflected a strong commitment to promoting university sports and fostering a vibrant, competitive campus environment.

The tournament brought together five Saudi universities—Umm Al-Qura University, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, King Faisal University, University of Hafr Al Batin, and KFUPM—creating a dynamic atmosphere that encouraged healthy competition, student engagement, and inter-university interaction. The championship aimed to break daily academic routines, enhance physical activity, and strengthen connections among university students through sport.

As a qualifying round for the national finals, the championship carried high competitive stakes, with the top two teams advancing to the final stage. King Faisal University secured first place, followed by Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University in second place, earning both teams qualification to the finals.
