Career Fair 2025 Opens with New Opportunities

KFUPM inaugurated the 2025 Career Fair today, Monday, starting with an opening ceremony where University President Dr. Muhammed Al-Saggaf honored sponsors and partners, at celebrated organizations that supported students’ summer training programs by hosting them at their main offices worldwide. During the event, a key partnership was also signed between Dhahran Techno Valley and Baker Hughes to strengthen collaboration in innovation and entrepreneurship.

In his speech, Dr. Al-Saggaf emphasized the university’s vision, stating: “This university, with the support of our wise government, which five years ago decided to transform it into an autonomous independent institution, has undergone a comprehensive overhaul. One of its most important goals is to achieve excellence, moving with speed and agility to become a world-class research and innovation environment.”

Connecting Students with Opportunities

Following the ceremony, Dr. Al-Saggaf cut the ribbon to officially open the fair and toured all participating entities, which include 100 public and private organizations from across the Kingdom, gathered to enrich student knowledge and create employment opportunities for graduates. The three-day fair dedicates the first two days exclusively to KFUPM students and alumni, while the final day welcomes visitors from outside the university.

Notably, this year’s fair was organized with 50% of the efforts coming solely from the students themselves, highlighting their active role in shaping the university’s professional and career initiatives. The event also reflects KFUPM’s commitment to developing the Seven Habits of Capable Students: high aspirations, self-reliance, global experience, interdisciplinary work, undergraduate research, terminal scholarship, and positivity and kindness.
