College Cup Games Unite KFUPM Community

Games Fuelled by friendly competition and a strong sense of community, 187 faculty and staff members from across KFUPM came together for the 2024–2025 edition of the College Cup Games, held on Thursday, May 15, 2025. The event featured eight dynamic sports: Swimming, Badminton, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Football, Basketball, Tennis, and Squash.

More than just a tournament, the College Cup fosters health and collaboration among employees. Following a full academic year of spirited matchups, the College of General Studies (CGS) emerged as the overall champion. Other top performers included the Administrative Offices (AO), the College of Petroleum Engineering and Geosciences (CPG), and the Research Institute (RI), each earning high scores and showcasing strong team efforts across multiple games.

The Physical Education Department plans to expand the event’s impact even further, setting a target of 300 participants for the next edition. New initiatives will focus on broader inclusion, enhanced experiences, and continued promotion of well-being across campus.
