His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, attended the graduation ceremony of the 21st cohort of students from Dammam Community College, affiliated with King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). The event took place on Tuesday, May 4, 2026, in the presence of KFUPM President Dr. Muhammad Al-Saggaf, Dean of the College Dr. Haitham Mohammed Bahaidarah, faculty members, and the graduates’ families.
In his speech, Prince Saud congratulated the graduates and praised the vital role of families in supporting and encouraging their children. He noted that the leadership’s support for the education sector has contributed to building an integrated educational system focused on developing national talents and equipping them with skills aligned with labor market needs. He also emphasized that investing in human capital is a key pillar in enhancing national competitiveness and supporting the Kingdom’s comprehensive development journey.
Dr. Al-Saggaf thanked HRH for his presence and highlighted the Kingdom’s continued commitment to education. He encouraged the graduates to embrace lifelong learning and innovation, assuring them that KFUPM will remain a strong supporter in their future endeavors.
For his part, Dean Dr. Haitham Bahaidarah expressed his pride in graduating the 21st cohort, which included 216 graduates. He congratulated the graduates and their families and praised the continuous support received by the education sector, which has contributed to enhancing educational outcomes in line with labor market needs.
