Future Scientists Showcase Innovation at KFUPM’s STEM Expo

The Hydrogen Technologies and Carbon Management Research Center at KFUPM organized STEM Expo 2025, bringing together 33 high school students from across Saudi Arabia who trained in the university’s interdisciplinary research centers. These students, chosen for their outstanding aptitude and enthusiasm for science, worked alongside KFUPM researchers and faculty to develop solutions to global challenges in:

- Sustainable Energy & Hydrogen Technologies

- Carbon Management & Environmental Sustainability

- Advanced Materials Science & Engineering

- Artificial Intelligence & Data Science Applications

- Petroleum & Chemical Engineering Innovations.

At the exhibition, students showcased their research posters and interactive demonstrations, presenting real-world applications and industry-relevant solutions. Experts from the university’s faculty, researchers, postdocs, and engineers engaged with students, offering insights and discussing potential advancements in their fields. By bridging the gap between high school education and university research, the STEM Expo empowers young innovators to create, lead, and shape the future of technology and sustainability in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
