Golden Jubilee Reunion of Class of 1976

More than 125 graduates from the Class of 1976 at KFUPM gathered on February 6, 2026, to mark 50 years since their graduation. The event was held on the university campus in Dhahran and reflected a strong sense of loyalty, nostalgia, belonging, and shared memories among the alumni.

The program included a visit to the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra), where participants toured the library and museum. The celebration also featured documentary presentations highlighting the professional journeys of the graduates and memorable moments from their years at the university.

The event agenda also included honoring sponsors, a traditional folk performance, and the distribution of the Golden Jubilee commemorative book, adding a celebratory and cultural dimension to the reunion.

The event was organized by the alumni themselves with the support of KFUPM’s Public Relations Department.

This gathering represents the tenth reunion for the Class of 1976 since they began holding regular meetings in 2016. Previous reunions were hosted in several Saudi cities, before returning to Dhahran to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of their graduation.
