KFUPM took part for the first time in the China Education Expo (CEE) 2025, one of the world’s most dynamic gatherings for international education leaders.
Held in Beijing, China (31 October – 1 November 2025), the event served as a global meeting point to explore emerging education trends and build meaningful connections among universities across continents.
Through its dedicated exhibition booth, KFUPM showcased its expanding international partnerships, as well as its student and faculty exchange programs, emphasizing the university’s growing contribution to collaborative research and global learning opportunities.
KFUPM’s Chinese student ambassadors, Guochen Zhao (Master’s) and Heran Geng (Ph.D.), played a remarkable role during the expo. Their participation and ability to share their personal experiences as KFUPM students left a strong and positive impression on visitors, reflecting the university’s welcoming and globally minded community. Currently, KFUPM hosts 15 Chinese students across various programs, and by participating in this expo, the university succeeded in attracting more Chinese students interested in joining KFUPM.
In addition, many Chinese universities and education agents expressed strong interest in forming partnerships or launching joint academic programs with KFUPM, particularly recognizing its position as the top university in Saudi Arabia and the Arab world.
KFUPM’s presence at CEE 2025 marks another significant milestone in broadening its international reach and strengthening its role as a globally connected university, contributing to the future of higher education.
