KISEF: Empowering Students, Led by Students

King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) hosted the 2025 edition of the Knowledge and Inspiration Student Engagement Forum (KISEF) on April 27–28 at Dhahran Techno Valley. This forum stands out because it is fully organized and operated by KFUPM students—from planning to execution—demonstrating the university’s commitment to student leadership and hands-on experience.

KISEF brought together over 700 participants, including students, fresh graduates, and industry professionals. The forum focused on bridging the gap between academic learning and career readiness by offering a range of interactive zones:

  • Inspiration Stage: Career journeys and insights from successful professionals across sectors.
  • Knowledge Stage: Panel discussions and talks on future job trends and industry challenges.
  • Career Arena: One-on-one mentoring, mock interviews, CV reviews, and LinkedIn consultations.
  • Workshops: Skills-based sessions led by experts and industry partners.
  • Career Fair: Dozens of top companies presented job and internship opportunities.

Distinguished speakers included Sohaib Al-Balushi (CEO of Half Million), Abdullah Al-Yousef (Founder and CEO of TAM), Abdullah Al-Jefali (President of Honeywell KSA & Bahrain), and Abdullah Al-Rashid (Director of King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture – Ithra).

KISEF is more than just a career forum—it’s a student-run platform that reflects KFUPM’s belief in real-world learning, leadership, and industry connection. It continues to serve as a launchpad for students as they step confidently into their future careers.
