SDAIA-KFUPM Joint Research Center Hosts Advanced NVIDIA AI Training

The SDAIA-KFUPM Joint Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (JRC-AI) at KFUPM is organizing an intensive NVIDIA training program in collaboration with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA). This globally recognized program, offered by the Gen AI Academy in partnership between SDAIA and NVIDIA, and running from December 29, 2024, to January 28, 2025, for a select group of 20 participants from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) and a group of external attendees, including PhD or Master’s holders specializing in deep learning, and Bachelor’s degree holders in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or Software Engineering with a focus on AI and deep learning.

The program's primary objective is to equip participants with advanced skills in generative AI, enabling them to develop, deploy, and optimize AI models for practical applications. Participants will be able to earn an NVIDIA professional certifications.

The curriculum covers essential topics such as building generative AI models, designing conversational AI applications, accelerating data processing, and deploying models efficiently in production environments.

This joint effort between KFUPM and SDAIA highlights a strong commitment to advancing AI expertise and innovation, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s growing role in the global AI landscape.
