The 16th edition of the Volunteer Day Festival took place at KFUPM, bringing together over 1,000 volunteer students from various majors in collaboration with the university’s Voluntary Work Unit. As the largest annual volunteer event in Saudi Arabia, the festival embraced the theme “Together Towards One Million Volunteers,” reinforcing its commitment to fostering a culture of volunteerism and expanding its impact across communities.
Aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, the festival harnessed the efforts of individuals and organizations to make volunteer work a key pillar of social development. By engaging volunteers in meaningful initiatives, the event strengthened the values of giving, collaboration, and sustainable contribution, paving the way for a more connected and empowered society.
This year’s festival featured 50 diverse volunteer programs across community, environmental, specialized, and professional fields. Volunteers took part in impactful initiatives such as beach rehabilitation, tree planting, patient visits, and educational courses, leaving a lasting mark on society for individuals and the environment.
With over 112,000 volunteer hours, 14,000 volunteers, 110,000 beneficiaries, and 420 successful programs, the Volunteer Day Festival at KFUPM continued to drive meaningful change, proving that collective efforts can transform communities and inspire a culture of giving.
