Al-Jabal Restaurant at KFUPM marked World Chocolate Day with a creative sweet menu served during lunchtime. The celebration took place on July 8, 2025, giving faculty and staff a delightful mid-day break to enjoy the variety on offer.
The culinary team showcased their talent through 17 inventive dishes, including chocolate cinnamon rolls, chocolate milkshakes, chocolate cheesecake, pistachio chocolate cake, and chocolate tarts. Each dish featured chocolate as a core ingredient, blended creatively with dairy, fruits, and nuts using both traditional and modern recipes from different cultures.

The event was more than a celebration of flavor. It was an opportunity for chefs to express their creativity and explore new ideas. As Chef Shaban Elganainy shared, “Through these events, we aim to bring joy to the university community and highlight the talent within our campus kitchen.”
