A Morning of Saudi Pride and Celebration

On Sunday morning, September 27, 2026, KFUPM leadership came together for a special gathering in celebration of the 96th Saudi National Day, in the presence of KFUPM President Dr. Muhammad Al-Saggaf.

The morning offered a warm atmosphere for colleagues to connect and celebrate the occasion over breakfast. Saudi traditions were present throughout the gathering, with a lively folk performance and the Saudi Ardah bringing a sense of pride and energy to the celebration.

Adding a personal touch to the celebration, a professional Arabic calligrapher wrote employees’ names in a distinctive calligraphy style, creating personalized keepsakes to remember the occasion. The gathering also included the cutting of a National Day cake, bringing everyone together for a shared celebratory moment.

The morning gathering continued KFUPM’s Saudi National Day 96 celebrations, following the main campus event on September 23, which brought together faculty, staff, and their families for an evening of live performances, interactive experiences, and activities inspired by Saudi culture and identity.
