Student Represents KFUPM at Global Youth Festival in Paris

Electrical Engineering student Hadi Fathi Algheryafi represented KFUPM at the Global Youth Festival 2026, held in Paris, France, from October 15 to 18, 2026, after being selected from thousands of applicants through a competitive process.

The festival brought together more than 230 delegates from over 120 countries, including young leaders, entrepreneurs, students, professionals, and changemakers. The program featured sessions and discussions on public policy, sustainability, innovation, technology, the Sustainable Development Goals, and international cooperation.

During the festival, Hadi participated in discussions with young leaders from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds and took part in a visit to the French Parliament, where he learned about the French parliamentary system and global sustainable development efforts.

His participation provided an opportunity to share a Saudi student’s perspective in international discussions and establish connections with peers from around the world.

Hadi plans to share his experience with KFUPM students and stay in touch with fellow delegates. He encourages students to seek international opportunities early, draw on their own experiences when preparing applications, and contribute actively to discussions.

Hassan Alshaer, another KFUPM student, also participated in the festival independently as a Saudi delegate.
