King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals moves up to the seventh global position in terms of patents
King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) has been able to enter the top ten universities in the world in the number of patents granted by the US Patent Office. KFUPM attained the seventh place worldwide after filing 183 patents in 2017, surpassing a number of prestigious universities such as Harvard College and California Institute of Technology. 400 Scholarships for Studying at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals
Employers do not only compete to attract KFUPM graduates, but the major companies keen to recruit a number of distinguished students during their studies and signing contracts with them in the early stages of their academic studies to ensure that they join them after graduation. Despite changes in the labor market, KFUPM students and graduates’ share of job and scholarship opportunities has remained largely unaffected. "SADEEM", the Chemical Car from KFUPM, won the second place for 'Best Design' in second International Participation at San Francisco, USA
The chemical car team SADEEM (Chem-E-Car) from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals won the second place for 'Best Design' among 42 teams participated in an international competition held recently in San Francisco, USA. The competition is to design a small environmentally friendly car operated through chemical reactions without emission of any harmful substances to the environment. Feb. 5, 2017
